.SYNOPSIS...
There will be a warming trend through Wednesday with high
temperatures warming to around average with the greatest warming,
of around 10 degrees, for the inland valleys. This will be
followed by minor day-to-day changes through next weekend.
Dry weather will continue with night and morning coastal low
clouds spreading into portions of the western valleys late each
night.

.Morning Update...
Low clouds will continue to scatter out of the valleys to the
coast this morning with mostly sunny skies this afternoon. High
temperatures will be a few degrees warmer than yesterday, with
slightly warmer weather by tomorrow through the end of the week.
Otherwise, no forecast changes.
.Previous Discussion (246 AM Monday)...
.SHORT TERM (Today through Wednesday)...
High pressure to the southeast will bring a warming trend through
Wednesday with high temperatures generally warming to around
average. The greatest warming through Wednesday, of around 10
degrees, will be for the inland valleys. High temperatures on
Wednesday will range from the 70s near the coast to the 90s for
the Inland Empire with 106 to 112 for the lower deserts.
The marine layer will decrease in depth from around 2500 to 3000
feet deep early this morning to around 2000 feet deep for the
latter half of the week through next weekend. Night and morning
coastal low clouds will spread into portions of the western
valleys late each night.

.LONG TERM (Thursday through Sunday)...
Onshore lower-level flow and dry southwest flow aloft will remain
across California with high pressure to the south centered from
northern and central Baja to Texas. There will be minor day-to-day
differences in high temperatures through next weekend. Dry
weather will continue with night and morning coastal low clouds
spreading into portions of the western valleys late each night.

.AVIATION...
281530Z....Coast/Western Valleys...Low clouds based 1600-2100
feet MSL with tops to 2300 feet will clear to the coast by 18Z.
Low clouds to push ashore after 02Z and locally into western
valleys after 06Z. Bases should be 1200-1600 feet MSL, tops to
2000 feet, and local vis reduced 1-5SM on higher terrain. Scatter
out Tuesday 15-17Z.
.Inland Valleys/Mountains/Deserts...Mostly clear with VFR conditions
through Tuesday morning.
